THE PROJECT
John Sisk & Son engaged Pinebridge subsidiary company to complete the reinforced concrete structure at their 142 bed hotel development project. Our company constructed the basement structure, foundations, stair cores and lift shafts, suspended slabs, external and internal walls, beams, columns and perimeter ring beams.
OVERCOMING CHALLENGES
- Temporary Works – The project required comprehensive planned temporary works designs carried out by our own Chartered Engineer consultants. Each temporary works design was meticulously planned and designed to ensure that the temporary works were executed safely and whilst also ensuring minimum disruption to other site activities and trades.
- Access – The project is located in the heart of Dublin City Centre with the DART line running parallel across the north of the site. Careful daily and weekly planning of the construction sequencing ensured that the concrete frame was completed in the best possible timeframe.
